Have you always wanted to try your hand at the pottery wheel? Or maybe you’ve been missing the feeling of clay spinning through your fingers? Join us for a special one-day wheel throwing experience, perfect for total beginners or anyone looking to get back on the wheel!

In this fun and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn all the basics of wheel throwing, including:

  • How to center clay

  • How to open and pull the walls of a vessel

  • Tips and techniques for shaping your piece

We’ll provide all the tools, clay, and instruction you need. Any pieces you successfully complete will be trimmed, glazed, and fired by our studio staff, and ready for pickup in about three weeks.

Come get your hands muddy and create something uniquely your own! Spots are limited, so reserve your place soon.

Instructor Bio:

Cecelia, aka Cece, is originally from Santa Cruz, CA. Ever since her first ceramics class in high school, she’s been expanding her knowledge and craft. As a new member of the Mud Lake community, she’s excited to share her passion for ceramics with others.

Her work focuses mostly on functional pieces, embellished with minimal textural carvings. She gets her inspiration from nature in all its forms.
