Looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate Halloween? Join us for a special Halloween sgraffito workshop at Mud Lake! Each participant will receive a ceramic pumpkin to paint with underglaze and then scratch or carve into, revealing the clay beneath and creating a unique design.
Kay will provide a ceramic pumpkin for each participant, along with all the underglazes and tools you’ll need. She’ll begin with a thorough demo, then it’s up to you to decide what designs and patterns to create on your pumpkin. Kay will be there throughout the workshop to offer guidance and answer questions.
Your finished pumpkin will be fired after the workshop and ready to pick up and display at home. These pumpkins make a perfect Halloween decoration, and they easily transition into a festive Thanksgiving centerpiece or fall decoration!
This workshop is good for all ages and experience levels, although children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who also purchases a seat.
