Calling all knitters and crocheters! On March 28th, hobbies will collide in our very first ceramic Yarn Bowl Workshop. Let’s make something that will inspire you to actually wind your yarn and not wrestle with the skein through your entire project! Your instructor, Liv, will be providing leather-hard bowl blanks, ready for sculptural add-ons and underglaze designs. Together, you will create the most satisfying way to keep your yarn tangle-free forevermore. Cut a traditional swirl in the side, or poke a hole and feed it through anything you can think of. Maybe a mouth or a nose, maybe a cat whisker or mouse tail…. The options are limitless. We will spend the first 15 minutes of class sketching out ideas and then go through basic hand-building techniques in order to bring your yarn bowl to life. Beginners very much welcome, no experience necessary.
